Objective:

The Work at Height Regulations 2005 (updated 2007).          
Safe systems of work.
Methods of fall protection.         
Anchor identification and selection.         
Radio frequency hazard awareness         
Work restraint systems.           
Work positioning systems.         
Fall arrest methods.           
Understanding of suspension intolerance.        
Risk assessing, identifying hazards and planning the work task.    
Inspection care and maintenance.         
Carrying out a simple work task at height.       
Carrying out a rescue at height using different rescue devices.  
Creating a rescue plan prior to the commencement of work task. 
Casualty handling at height and at ground level.     
Reporting of accidents and incidents following the event.

Fitting and adjustment of harness.           
Fitting and use of twin lanyards.            
Understanding practically the use of the energy absorbing lanyards.   
Fitting and use of work positioning equipment.         
Correct use of PPE anchors and anchor systems.           
Methods of ladder climbing.           
Correct use of fall arrest blocks.            
Practical use of fixed vertical fall arrest systems.        
Movement around a tower structure at height.         
Practical use of rescue devices and lowering methods.        
Casualty handling at height and at ground level.      
Off weight rescue technique           
Simple raising and lowering systems to recover casualties from height.
