To give all candidates an understanding of Paediatric First Aid including CPR and the use of an AED Defibrillator on a child.

Course content:

Role and responsibilities of paediatric first aider.       
Incident and casualty assessment.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED.
Choking infant/child.      
Unresponsive infant/child & Management of a seizure.
Catastrophic bleeding.
